Start your summer adventure with a visit to Garden of the Gods. This iconic park offers breathtaking red rock formations and numerous trails for hiking and photography. Don’t miss the Kissing Camels and Balanced Rock. Hiking Tip: Try the Perkins Central Garden Trail for an easy, scenic walk or the Palmer Trail for a more challenging hike.
Seven Falls
4.1 Miles | 9 Minutes
Head to Seven Falls, a series of cascading waterfalls in a stunning natural setting. Hike the 224 steps to the top for a rewarding view or take the in-mountain elevator to Eagle’s Nest for a different perspective. After the hike, you’ve earned the bison chili or a hearty sandwich at Restaurant 1858, located at the base of the falls.
Red Rock Canyon Open Space
4.1 Miles | 9 Minutes
Wind through canyons and ridges sculpted by erosion at Red Rock Canyon Open Space, just south of US 24 and Manitou Springs. Pack some sandwiches from BLK MGK to enjoy after a short scenic hike, or spend the whole day here, taking in great views of the Colorado Front Range.
Cultural Immersion & Sights to See
Spend a morning exploring this comprehensive arts center, which features art galleries, a theater, and a museum. On July 5th, the First Friday Art Party at the center is not to be missed. Make a night of it back at the hotel, with The Vault by Auric Gallery Art Walk reception continuing until 9pm.
