For a more varied breakfast menu, BLK MGK serves locally roasted craft coffee and fresh pastries daily from 6 am – 3 pm. There are no microwaves in the rooms.

Yes! The Mining Exchange features select pet-friendly guest rooms where your pet can stay with you for a non-refundable pet cleaning fee of $100 plus tax per stay. Certified service animals are always welcome without charge.

Breakfast is not generally included at The Mining Exchange unless you purchase a package that includes it. Craft coffee made with locally roasted beans, pastries, and other breakfast items can be purchased at BLK MGK from 6 am to 3 pm.

Yes! There are several fantastic restaurants within walking distance of The Mining Exchange. The closest—and our favorite—is Oro, our in-house Italian kitchen. Other Colorado Springs restaurants nearby include Jack Quinn’s, Colorado Craft, Illegal Pete’s, Bonnie and Reed, and Rabbit Hole.

The Mining Exchange is proud to welcome one well-behaved dog of any weight and size. Let our team know you are traveling with your pet when you make your reservation. A non-refundable pet cleaning fee of $100 plus tax per stay will be added to your bill. Feel free to bring your canine companion to our lobby, including BLK MGK and Golden Hour. All dogs must be on leash at all times in the hotel’s common areas. Certified service animals are always welcome.

The Mining Exchange is a non-smoking hotel, and we do not have a designated smoking area.

Yes. The Urban Amenity Fee of $25 per room per night includes PressReader, drinking water, guest access to premium high-speed Wi-Fi, the option to borrow bicycles to explore the city, and a $25 per day food and beverage credit for use at BLK MGK coffee shop or Golden Hour lobby bar. Note, the food and beverage credit allotted for each night’s stay expires at noon the next day and cannot be accrued or rolled over for use after that time and date.

The Mining Exchange has an overnight private security team.

We place a $100 hold on your credit card for incidentals when you check in at The Mining Exchange front desk. It normally takes 3-5 business days after you check out for those funds to be released. If you are using a debit card, the hold will look like a charge. Those funds will be unavailable during the hold and may take longer to be released.
